André Thevet, Jean de Léry und Montaigne. Ein Beitrag zur Entstehungsgeschichte des "Guten Wilden"

El presente ensayo trata de aclarar el origen del concepto del "buen salvaje" en la literatura europea. Por lo general se considera que Michel de Montaigne con su obra "Des Cannibales" haya introducido el concepto. Pero antes de haber publicado su obra el filósofo francés existían dos relaciones de informantes franceses sobre los acontecimientos en el Brasil. En cuanto a la comprensión por los "salvajes" estos informes muestran gran diferencia .La comparación de la obra de los informantes con la de Montaigne lleva a la pregunta si el último haya sido realmente el autor del concepto.Downloads
