Campos agrícolas prehispánicos en los Llanos de Barinas, Venezuela

El trabajo presenta los primeros datos sobre campos de cultivo prehispánicos, obtenidos en Caño Ventosidad, Estado Barinas, Venezuela, a través de la excavación arqueológica, y además, analiza los resultados del survey de la zona adyacente. La información obtenida sugiere que la construcción de los campos se relaciona con grupos de Selva Tropical, cuya penetración a las sabanas forma parte de la gran expansión Arauquinoide, que desde el Orinoco Medio y Alto, se dirigió a otros sectores del territorio venezolano entre los 1000 y 1400 D.C.Downloads
