Los Guayabero en el Oriente de Colombia. Apuntes sobre la situación actual

Los guayabero, radicados en el curso superior del río Guaviare, en el Oriente de Colombia, constituyen una tribu indígena que - después de haber sido diezmada hace unos treinta años por una epidemia - forma en la actualidad una población nuevamente en crecimiento que experimenta un proceso de acelerado cambio cultural. El presente trabajo se basa en datos recogidos durante los años 1970-1974 y enfoca los problemas inherentes a este proceso y a la invasión de sus tierras por personas de filiación no-guayabera.Downloads
