EI autor presenta un diálogo de una danza popular de San Vicente Chicoloapan cerca de Tetzcoco en el Valle de México. La pieza forma parte del género de Moros y Cristianos y contiene el reto de los cristianos al Moro y Luzbel. Tal como fue representada hace aproximadamente treinta años, los infieles, derrotados al final de la danza, son "bautizados" en la puerta de la iglesia del pueblo. El autor explica que sólo se han publicado unos cuantos diálogos de Moros y Cristianos y que hasta que se disponga de un material más abundante y fidedigno, las interpretaciones etnológicas de estas piezas serán siempre hipotéticas.Downloads
