El trabajo presenta dos canciones tojolabales, mayas de los Altos de Chiapas, México. Han sido compuestas por varios indígenas anónimos en los últimos años. Las canciones son testimonio de como los tojolabales ven la sociedad dominante en la cual viven. La primera canción habla de la estancia de un indígena en un hospital urbano. La segunda enfoca el problema de la tenencia de la tierra. A pesar de programas de salud y de reforma agraria, los indígenas ven que hasta la fecha estos programas no les han servido, ni les han abierto el camino hacia la convivencia pacífica que buscan, sino que los impulsan a luchar.Downloads
