Der Jahresstil der Matlatzinca: Ein Interpretationsproblem

La hipótesis de Alfonso Caso acerca de la existencia de un calendario matlatzinca que difiere del mexicano con respecto a los nombres del año y su principio se fundó en el fragmento de un calendario atribuido a los Matlatzinca conservado en París. El presente análisis de dicho manuscrito, sin embargo, rechaza las conclusiones de Caso, porque las tablas calendáricas del manuscrito reflejan más bién un "calendario modelo", designado para el uso perpetuo a la manera de los reportorios medievales. Por lo tanto, no existió un calendario matlatzinca propiamente dicho en la forma reconstruida por Caso.Downloads
