Los Karajá, que viven en la región central del Brasil, a orillas de río Araguayo medio, desde hace mucho se dedican a la confección de muñecos de arcilla. Predomina en ellos el elemento femenino y parece tener su razón en la posición peculiar que la mujer ocupa en el orden social de los Karajá. El presente artículo señala las diferentes formas de delantales femeninos que ostentan las figurillas de arcilla.Downloads
