Orión y Sirio en la mitología tarëno

La mitología estelar de los indios tarëno (trio) de Surinám y Brasil se relaciona de manera compleja con varios índices etnoastronómicos del ciclo anual. Comparando el simbolismo de codificaciones múltiples en el lore tarëno (y sus asociaciones variables con distintas fases de las estaciones seca y de lluvias) con algunos mitos de otras etnias del tronco lingüístico caribe, se esclarecen–en el ejemplo crucial de las constelaciones de Orión y Sirio – algunas configuraciones y relaciones de significado que parecían abarcar momentos contradictorios, y se perfila una comprensión más profunda de algunos elementos comunes dentro de la cosmovisión mítica de las culturas amazónico-guayanesas.Downloads
