This paper discusses a group of structures built on Monte Albán's main precinct during a late, and as yet not defined, phase of central Oaxaca's ceramic period Ula. This architecture incorporates technical, formal and spatial characteristics that link it very closely to Xochicalco, Morelos. Other archaeological materials strengthen this relationship and the importance of both sites in the city-constellation that tied together Mexico's highlands during the late Classic.Downloads
