In this article, an iconographic analysis of some design elements in Ralámuli (Tarahumara) textiles (woven belts) from Northwestern Mexico is developed, including other (partly textile) objects as well as a comparison with analogous objects and conceptions of the Huichol, in order to explore their cosmological and ritual dimensions.Downloads
