In this article a transcription is presented of what we argue to be the earliest known manuscript of Ecuadorian Quechua or Quichua. This is preceded by a historical study of the author and the circumstances of creation of the manuscript, as well as a brief appreciation of its significance for the study of the history of this Quechua variety.Downloads
