A literate revolution: essay on the emergence of the political language of the Republic in New Granada, 1807-1811

This essay examines how political language based on permanent public discussion arose on what had been the Viceroyalty of the New Granada, between 1807 and 1811. The study of the most representative newspapers allows us to think that there was an emergency of a new space of opinion composed of new agents, new words and new media.
