The purpose of the article is to analyze how the Brazilian military regime perceived Portugal’s revolution of 25 April of 1974. The chosen methodology is the analysis of the positions of public administration bodies on the events of the Portuguese transition, mainly using positions of intelligence agencies and the ministries of foreign affairs.
