The paper describes some characteristics of the editorial project Revista de las Indias (1936-1951), a publication designed and produced in Bogotá, Colombia, under the auspices of the Colombian government. The focus is on the second period of the journal (between 1938 and 1944), a moment in which the publication reached the presence of authors from all over the American continent. The period also corresponds to the conscious and planned insertion of the editorial team responsible for the publication to form part of the initiatives for intellectual cooperation promoted by governmental institutions in Europe and America during the first half of the 20th century.
