Abstract

La violencia doméstica es considerada hoy en día un problema social de grandes dimensiones y con una profunda raíz histórica. En la actualidad ha recibido mucha atención, tiene un auditorio muy amplio y cobra cada día más víctimas. Los especialistas de diversas disciplinas humanistas han presentado una gran cantidad de trabajos donde se analizan los protagonistas, causas, desarrollos y consecuencias. Teniendo en cuenta esta atmósfera, el presente trabajo pretende mostrar un rostro desconocido de las sociedades mineras novohispanas durante el siglo XVIII.
