José Lezama Lima, escritor cubano, aborda en La expresión americana la problemática que gira en torno a la identidad cultural del continente americano, y sugiere una nueva visión de los patrones artísticos que constituyen su visión de la identidad americana. Este artículo es una relectura de su ensayo para dar cuenta de las características americanas que conforman la identidad poética de este continente.
Abstract
José Lezama Lima, Cuban writer, approaches in La expresión americana the problem of cultural identity in the Americas, and suggests a new vision of artistic patterns that constitute his vision of American identity. This article is a reading of his essay to account for the characteristics that make up the poetic identity of the continent.
