Este artículo reconstruye una dimensión no explorada del espacio de intelectuales nacionalistas católicos que emerge en Argentina a fines de los años 1920: el de la reacción antioriental y la concomitante “defensa del Occidente” que surge como respuesta a las valoraciones positivas del Oriente que se desarrollan en una importante porción del campo intelectual.
Abstract
This article reconstructs an unexplored dimension in the area of Catholic nationalist intellectuals emerged in Argentina in the late 1920s: the anti-oriental reaction and the concomitant “defense of the West” that arises in response to positive assessments of the East that were developed in a significant part of the intellectual field.
