Abstract

La aparición masiva y el fortalecimiento del movimiento indígena en Bolivia se puede observar desde comienzos del siglo XXI. El movimiento y sus marchas de protesta fueron un elemento clave para el cambio gubernamental entre los años 2000 y 2006. En este período fueron derrocados dos presidentes y fue elegido Evo Morales, primer mandatario de origen indígena.
