Abstract

Madeinusa (2006), la ópera prima de Claudia Llosa, es una de las películas peruanas más exitosas en el exterior; ha ganado festivales de cine en Europa y Estados Unidos. Pero también es la película que ha suscitado uno de los debates más candentes en el medio nacional. El debate gira en torno a la representación del mundo andino y de sus habitantes. A fin de entender el porqué de su carácter encendido, dediquemos de entrada algunas líneas al espacio y al tiempo de la película.
