Abstract
Anarchism found in internationalism an essential element to unite the libertarian movement. There were many anarchist thinkers who sought to accomplish this goal and who, in their role of theorists-activists, not only contributed to the creation of the anarchist intellectual universe in Buenos Aires in the first decades of the 20th century but also, in their role of active agents in the process of conceiving of, receiving and spreading ideas, tried to relate local anarchism to Latin American and European anarchism. Diego Abad de Santillán was an outstanding character in this group. He was a fundamental piece in the libertarian intellectual machinery deployed between Europe and Latin America.
