Los vocabularios de lenguas indígenas recogidos por Walter Lehmann en la América Latina (1907-1929)

Entre los fondos del Instituto Ibero-Americano se encuentra el legado del americanista alemán Walter Lehmann. Parte del legado consiste de vocabularios de lenguas indígenas recogidos por Lehmann en América Latina durante los años 1907-29. El presente artículo trata de una evaluación provisional de estos materiales, comparando algunos vocabularios con datos más recientes. Las lenguas seleccionadas–una variedad del mixteco, del tzutujil, del quiché y del quechua–intentan ser representativas para sistemas fonéticos diferentes y, al mismo tiempo, para los diferentes viajes de Lehmann.Downloads
